SETON TRAFFIC UPDATE

A resident flagged that recent line painting at 212 Avenue SE and Seton Way SE looked like it reduced the dual left-turn lanes to one, and asked whether that would worsen congestion.

We checked with Administration. The lane changes were made in preparation for a new traffic signal at that intersection, with construction expected to begin September 14. Once the signal is operational, the intersection will continue to be monitored.

Our office has been pushing hard for additional signals and intersection improvements across Seton as the community grows. Keeping traffic infrastructure ahead of that growth remains a priority.
