MCKENZIE TOWNE BUS TERMINAL UPDATE

Back in January, residents told us about stunt driving in the McKenzie Towne Bus Terminal parking lot. Late nights, drifting, and a lot of noise in an area surrounded by condos and families.

Since then, our office has pushed this through Calgary Transit, Community Standards, and the Calgary Police Service. Here's where it landed:

Improved lighting. Mobile camera units. And now new signage with enforceable language that gives police direct authority to act on loitering and trespassing on Transit property.

Thanks to Calgary Transit and CPS District 8 for working through this with us, and to the residents who flagged it in the first place.
