CALGARY IS HIRING A NEW CAO

This is the most senior public service role in the city. Whoever takes it will lead 17,000 staff, oversee a $5B operating budget and $3.8B capital budget, and be accountable to Council for how every dollar gets spent.

We're looking for a proven executive leader from a large, complex organization. Public sector experience is preferred, private sector exposure is an asset. Strong financial stewardship and a track record of building accountability are essential.

Salary range: $391,666 to $475,000.
